Following the opening of Terminal 5 in 2008 and the relocation of British Airlines from Terminals 3 and 4 to the new Terminal 5, the British Airport Authority (BAA) commissioned a £200m upgrade to enable Terminal 4 to accommodate 45 airlines and serve as the base for the SkyTeam airline alliance.

Inspired Networks, in coordination with the individual airlines identified, designed, and managed the delivery of individual airline infrastructure requirements including Local Area Network (LAN), Wireless LAN, Wide Area Network (WAN), and Telephony.
