Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG) Airline Migrations – Shanghai, China

In March 2008 the Shanghai Airport Authority (SAA) commissioned the opening of the new Terminal 2, providing an added capacity of 60 million passengers. Terminal 2 was to be used by Air China and the Star Alliance airlines. The opening of Terminal 2 was planned in support of the Beijing Summer Olympic Games.

SAA and SITA engaged Inspired Networks for the planning, coordination, and migration of the airlines to Terminal 2. Inspired Networks, in coordination with the individual airlines, identified, designed, and managed the delivery of the individual airline infrastructure requirements including: Local Area Network (LAN), Wireless LAN, Wide Area Network (WAN), and Telephony services.
