In 2019, Nashville International Airport (BNA) was the fastest growing airport in the United States with over 18 million passengers annually and more than 600 flights daily. The Concourse D and Terminal Wings Expansion project is a Progressive Design-Build renovation and expansion project. The project is comprised of the 115,000 sq. ft. Concourse D with six domestic aircraft gates and new dining and retail options. In addition to the new concourse, the project entails expanding the airport’s ticketing lobby and baggage claim by adding 200,000 square feet of space to the north and south ends of the terminal. Other components of the project include remodeling 136,000 square feet of existing terminal space and building an 11,000 square foot central utility plant.
