In 2019, Nashville International Airport (BNA) was the fastest growing airport in the United States with over 18 million passengers annually and more than 600 flights daily. To keep up with this impressive growth rate, the airport developed a comprehensive renovation and expansion plan. This substantial plan, known as BNA Vision, is expected to be complete in 2023.
Under BNA Vision, the Terminal Lobby Renovation and International Arrivals Facility (IAF) is a 440,000 sq. ft. expansion and renovation effort. The upgraded central terminal will include a new marketplace, a 24-lane security checkpoint (doubling current capacity), ample natural light, and expansive views of the airfield. The IAF will include six new gates and a new U.S. Customs and Border Protection area.
